    Emma is our resident smiling assassin, teaching an epic Pilates class on Mondays 7.15pm. We love Emma's mindful and supportive yet challenging approach to her classes. Expect to feel the b u r n with an upbeat and invigorating Pilates workout. We caught up with Emily to ask her a few questions... 

    Why pilates? 
    I love Pilates for the balance it provides between strength and zen. You feel alive, and also centred.

    My teaching style is… 
    Not your usual Pilates class! I mix the flow style of yoga with Pilates so movement from one exercise to another is fluent. I make sure there is adequate burn - just enough to make the stretching feel like heaven. 

    In my classes you can expect... 
    To learn how to correctly activate the core muscles of your body - feel stronger, longer, leaner and happier after class.

    In my spare time you'll find me...
    Playing with my baby Levi.. and my fur baby frank.

    Favourite yoga pose & why 
    Savasana… obviously ;) 

    I'm inspired by... 
    Happy people.

    My philosophy/mantra for life is... 
    Treat others the way you want to be treated.

    The best piece of advice I ever received is… 
    The grass is greener where you water it.

    My #1 must-read recommendation is... 
    Currently reading “The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin” and really enjoying. Cant say I have actually finished a book since yr 12… I’m a serial book starter and never finisher :|

    Favourite food 
    A delicious matriciana pasta with wine of course. Or Jap. I love Jap food too. 

    Favourite holiday destination
    Bali!! Although Mykonos comes close!!

    Drink of choice
    Water!!! Just kidding. All the wine!! ;)
