    Why yoga?
There is something incredibly calming and satisfying in moving your body mindfully and engaging all your senses. My practice has gone through many peaks and troughs throughout the years but when I come to my mat my intention has nearly always remained the same, and that is to create a space for myself where I can accept things as they are.

    My teaching style is…
Challenging but playful, fluid but grounding.

In my classes you can expect…
Creative sequencing, curated playlists and h e a p s of opportunity to play and explore your body within the shapes and maybe even have a laugh at yourself along the way.

In my spare time you’ll find me…
Hanging out with my huzzy or at the park/beach with my dog Romeo, a very mischievous Lagotto (Italian lake dog). He’s given me many grey hairs in the short year and half we’ve had him.

    Favourite yoga pose & why
Uttanasana (standing forward fold). Gets me every time! Love to feel my face soften and picture the space between my vertebrae lengthen. Yummmmmmo.

    I’m inspired by…
Brene Brown and her epic research and works on vulnerability.

    My philosophy/mantra for life is…
    Trust & action = success.

The best piece of advice I ever received is…
Life is too short to concern yourself with people who don’t appreciate you.

    My #1 must-read recommendation is…
Anything by Thich Nhat Hanh or Pema Chodron.

    I can’t live without…
Family, my husband, my dog, sunshine and the beach.

    Someone once told me…
If you don’t stand for something you’ll fall for anything.

    Favourite food…
Potatoes. Seriously! In any format. Mashed, chips, potato cakes, baked, roasted… honestly the most versatile food ever.

    Favourite holiday destination…
New York for adventure & stimulation, Caye Caulker in Belize for ultimate chillaxing.

    Drink of choice…
I’m a really terrible drinker alcoholic-wise, I just get tired and hungry and want to go to bed! Would have to say almond milk chai latte or green smoothie (stereotypical yogi answer but it’s the truth!)
